This will probably be the last entry I give before my little getaway up north for the holiday weekend. I’ve had a busy last few days. I’ve used up all my vacation time so i’m working as much as I can to make up for the days of work i’ll be missing this weekend. Although I work a job where I sit at a desk and answer calls the whole time, it still wears you out. I’m sure every job no matter what is like that, well I guess except for some maybe. Well it was a rainy day, and I spent the evening working on my car. I have some wires melting under the dash and they have something to do with the headlights and dash lights apparently because nothing is turning on. So I was trying to fix them but it was a real struggle. I didn’t finish because it got dark out fast, so I came inside and caught a movie with Lizzie. We rented “Catch Me If You Can” which I rate as pretty good. Can’t believe Leonardo DiCaprio played a 17 year old though, isn’t he like 27? Well I guess it worked, and Tom Hanks was great as usual. The story was different which is good. And we also rented Super Troopers, for the third time. I can’t figure out why we don’t just buy the movie. It’s one of our favorite comedies. If you’re in the mood for a lighthearted comedy about state patrol officers that act like a bunch of college frat guys then you’ll like the movie. I recommend it. Went and saw Matrix Reloaded on Wednesday night also. I was in awe over the effects, absolutely loved the freeway scene. If you liked the first Matrix you’ll like this one even more, at least I did. It blew me away. But I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it so I won’t give any details. So, Thursday Liz and I are going up to North Dakota for a few days. I’m going to go ahead and miss my last two classes on Thursday because we have to be in Fargo by 6:00 Thursday night for a concert i’m going to with Jeremy and Randy. And i can’t miss it because my favorite band of all time (Systematic) is playing at it. 93X Fest is going on across the Wisconsin border, all the rock bands that are huge right now are going to be there. It’s a 2-day event but the tickets are kind of expensive, plus I really want to get out of the city and up to peaceful Cooperstown for a couple days. Logan gets to stay with Lizzie’s mom and her mom also has to come over and water our plants while we’re gone, so she’s helping us out. But otherwise not much else on the agenda for the next few days, just going to get out of here and relax a little. If weather permits we’ll go camping hopefully, but it sounds like it’s going to rain all weekend. Well, talk to you next week. I’m going to get lots of pictures to add to the pics page this weekend, plus i’ll get my photo albums from when I was in Germany and put some pics from that up.
