This instance I can’t really blame on the car though, it was just a broken belt. So my first reaction when I realized Lizzie wasn’t answering her cell phone for some reason and neither was anyone else was to get the bike out of the trunk and find a repair shop or something to get me fixed up.Well I wasn’t in the best place for that so I had to call up T-Mobile’s directory assistance to help me find a place. Oh my goodness, they were the rudest representatives i’ve ever dealt with. How on earth do they keep their jobs? I know I wouldn’t keep mine at TCF if I treated customers that way. I almost feel like cancelling my T-Mobile phone over it but it would just end up costing me money because I have a stupid contract. So they were totally unhelpful, they transferred me to some shop 6 miles away. I knew of places closer than that, and they were too far away.
Well I ended up getting it all taken care of but it came at a price of course. I had to miss a shift of work, and I missed all my classes today while getting the car fixed. But it’s fixed, over and done with. No need to hold any grudges, might as well let bygones be bygones. Or whatever.
So we were at the Mall of America today while I was waiting on the car. We mainly went just to get something to eat. I wanted Long John Silvers because it’s the only one in the cities that I can find, but as I was waiting for Lizzie we walked by one of those little asian food places and the ladies were basically shoving samples in our faces. So I tried it, it wasn’t the best I’d ever had but the ladies were just so interesting. She was saying “You like? You like? Yum Yum Yummy, right?” They were just so nice and upbeat that I couldn’t turn them down. So we had that. Long John Silvers would have been better. Boohoo.
We had to get Krispie Kremes of course, they were good as always. I try not to eat them often though, i’d like to not have clogged arteries in a matter of 2 years. Then we checked out all the usual stores. Lizzie had to go to the Alpaca Connection, a store that makes everything out of Alpaca fur. It’s all very soft and i’d love to get one of the blankets for the winter but it’s really expensive. She also had to go to the Disney store of course and I had to go to Pro Motorsports and The Apple Store. I guess I don’t mind walking around the mall so much, it isn’t the most horrible thing in the world. It’s a lot better than sitting in a hospital waiting room or a car repair shop waiting room. Or any other kind of waiting room for that matter.
We didn’t spend any money because we really don’t have any to spend now but you know how it goes. Think tonight we’re going to go for a bike ride and then i’m going to work on some stuff for school. Need to have “The Old Testament” read for Literature tommorow. I’m not too excited about that.
See you next time.
